Well done Don B who cemented his top spot on the final weekend and commiserations to Callum who loses out by a single point; Colin and Dave comfortable equal in third place. Nicola and Robbie managing to share the wooden spoon - there’s always next time.
The 6 nations that just kept on giving with probably the best Super Saturday ever; Scotland weren’t able to maintain their form and fell short against a resilient Ireland; Wales broke the Italian hearts in the first 45 minutes and then held out from a resurgent Italians - for the Welsh encouragement for the continuing improvement in form and there can be no doubts about Italian involvement in the 6 Nations; on to the final game which many (most) people thought would be a formality for France, but England had other ideas producing their best performance of the tournament, falling agonisingly short after an injury time discretion presenting Ramos with a chance to win the game, which he duly did. Fifth in the table is not what England were expecting before the competition start and a good final performance will not gloss that over.
